Ms. Jacqueline Bonds was born on August 24, 1963 to Fredrick and Thelma Bonds in Norfolk, VA. Jackie, as she was affectionately called, received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Norfolk State University in 1985.
 
Jackie was employed with the U.S. Post Office, where she served dutifully for 31 years before she became medically unable earlier this year. In her leisure, she enjoyed watching Lifetime and the Food Network, reading and movies. She also enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Brianna. Jackie loved to have fun and her laughter could light up a room.
 
Jackie is survived by her daughter, Brianna Huntley Chesapeake, two brothers, Fredrick Bonds of Baltimore MD, Michael Bonds (Paula) of Norfolk, VA, and one sister, Barbara Bonds of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Fred and Thelma Bonds; brother, Larry Bonds (Jeraldine) Richmond, VA, and sister, Celestine Bonds Norfolk, VA and Ralph Grier. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jackie was a blessing to many.
