On November 19, 1956, Clem and Cora Bell Turner Gant was blessed with their fourth daughter, ninth child, and proudly named her Yvonne Gant. At a precious young age, this beautiful soul accepted he Lord as her Savior and was baptised while attending the family's "home church". Azion Missionary Baptist Church. Until her brief illness, she faithfully attended and financially supported her church, Christ Consciousness Awareness Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She served as an elder and was faithful to the Lord, her church, and Pastor (Bishop D. Dewayne Rudd, Sr.)
Yvonne graduated from John F. Kennedy Memorial High School in May, 1974, furthered her education in the State of Arkansas. and other areas. She was employed over 25 years as an accountant with the Arkansas Department of Education. With such good work ethics, she owned Shalom Tax Solutions, which provided part-time income for three employees. Yvonne, had a passion for providing for those in need, she never met a stranger, and touched so many lives in her own special way. She was dependable, and the word "no" wasn't an option, if it could be done, she gracefully took pride in doing it well. Her love and services to mankind are immeasurable.
On January 15, 2017, her spirit was released to join members of her immediate family: A son, Allen D. Williams, Jr., her parents, and a brother, Melvin Gant. |
