Rod Vince Canada was born in Greenville, MS. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of eight under the Leadership of Rev. D.R. Royal, founder of the Friendship M.B. Church where he remained an active member until his death. He served on the Usher Board as a youth and has served on several planning committees.
He attended Greenville Public Schools and he graduated from Greenville High in 1986. He continued his education at Mississippi Valley State University where he majored in Criminal Justices. He soon set his sights on his working career. His first gainful employment was as management at Burger King and later he joined Coca Cola as a salesman. He remained there until he relocated to Los Angeles, California where he became a manager at a grocery store. After a year, he decided to relocate back to Greenville, MS and gained employment with Pepsi Cola as an Account Manager where he remained over a decade. He received several employees Recognitions throughout his career. He also worked in mental health and managed local stores. He loved his coworkers and he really loved working with the public.
He had a heart of gold and would always encourage and help others.
His favorite words were, "I AM BLESSED."
